Natal Report for Emma
“Emma has a Leo rising. This means she will always be noticed. She will have nice hair and be a flirt. She will have a bit of a temper if ignored.
She is an “old soul” with a stelliums in Gemini and Aquarius (Stellium is 3 or more planets in one sign) She will be “chatty” – especially as she becomes a teenager. She will be a communicator and have a great sense of humor.
She will have friends that she will talk to all the time. She will love the telephone. She is very bright.
When she starts dating she will be inclined to choose males who hear a different drummer – guys that do not fit what parents like. She has karma about one-on-one relationships.
She will be a little manipulative about getting her way. She will threaten to run away when angry. She will love to travel.
You should consider dance and team sports for her.
Also get her a piggy bank as she will be a saver.
Great Chart and a great little Girl!”
The crazy thing is we have already started to see the temper come out when she does not get exactly what she wants. We also received 3 piggy banks for her before she was even born. That was a little freaky. It is going to be so interesting watching her grow and see which of these traits start to come out and when. Trevor and I read the whole chart last night we could totally see ourselves in her. That was a bit scary to recognize your own issues in someone else. Guess we all have a lot of learning to do.

No Cabin
Well, unfortunately we didn’t make it to the cabin this weekend. We spent most of the day Saturday preparing the food, getting all of Emma’s gear together and had it sitting by the front door ready to take off early in the morning. Then I woke up with 103 degree temp and vomiting. I ended up sleeping most of the day while Trevor spent the day with Emma. We finally went to Prompt Care at 1:30pm just about the time my fever was starting to break. The doctor said I had a kidney infection. Then the evil man gave me a shot and sent me home with a pharmacy of drugs.
I am feeling better today. I actually got out of my PJs and went to our last Bittie Baby class. I sure am going to miss those classes. They were a ton of fun with some great people.

Feeling better
On Saturday, we took Emma to her first experience at one of my favorite shopping hot spots, Costco. I don’t think she really cared that much, but Mommy and Daddy sure had a great time. I am sure she will be begging to go to Costco soon enough.

Bumbo
We have been so busy lately. Between Mommy and Me yoga, Bittie Baby class and all the wonderful visitors, I haven’t had a chance to post in awhile.
The last couple of nights Emma has slept for 7 hours straight. I keep repeating myself, but it is true. We have been blessed with the easiest baby. She is an angel!
At six weeks old, Emma is already holding her head up. However, it doesn’t last too long. I thought it was pretty cool though.
Emma just keeps growing. She is now 8 lbs 12 oz.

Walk in Bidwell Park
Today was our first walk in the park. We went with some other new mommies from our Bittie Baby class. I think Emma liked going for a walk. She slept most of the way though. Next time maybe Mommy will be brave enough to bring the dogs with us.
Monday we also did Mommy and me yoga…just trying to get back into shape so my clothes will fit.

One Month Old Today!
They sure do grow up fast. I can’t believe it has already been a month since she arrived. Before we know it Emma will be heading off to college. I guess we better enjoy every moment we have now.
Emma and I went to the Bittie Baby class at the Enloe Mother & Baby Center on Tuesday and learned how to do Infant Massage. So every night before bedtime Emma gets a little massage. Must be nice! They say that massage helps with all kinds of issues. One happens to be their digestive system. Since Emma has had a difficult time going poop in the last few weeks, I thought it would help. Last night we finally had a break through in the poop department. She hadn’t gone for 3 days and you could tell she was a bit irritated about the whole thing. But last night she let it all out….THANK GOODNESS!!
When we were at the Mother & Baby Center we weighed little Miss Emma and she is now 7 lbs and 14 oz.
Here are some pics of Emma getting a massage and some of her big brother, Gauley,

Pretty Purple Princess
All dressed up and ready to go to Grandma’s house. Today will be her first day spent with Grandma Priscilla. She is looking forward to being spoiled.
Thank goodness we have got the gas under control.
